The first option to print "Hello, World!" on the screen (in the output window of the editor) is by typing the following in the code window:

   

Multi Line comments are exactly the same as single line comments.
The only difference is that they span over several rows as shown on the image below:

   

Comments are ignored by the editor, because they`re only used for structuring the code and/or giving other programmers of your team or yourself a hint what a part of a code is about, or what you want to work on later etc.
Single line comments are made as shown on the image below:

Basic-256 is a simplified Basic syntax.
It`s easy to learn and it`s a good way to get started for people who`ve never learned programming before.
After that it`s easier to get used to more complex languages such as Visual Basic For Applications, FreeBasic or something similar.
